Når man i dag snakker om Jemen, er det nesten alltid de samme ordene som dukker opp i nyhetene: krig, sult, ødeleggelse, angrep på skip, bombardementer. Men hvis man ser litt nærmere og dykker litt dypere, forstår man at krig er bare toppen av isberget. Jemen har lenge levd utenfor det 21. århundre, eller til og med i en parallell virkelighet, hvor staten som slik ikke eksisterer, og hvor stammene, religiøse lederne og de væpnede gruppene tar deres plass.

This article examines the complex and enduring nature of Israel's conflicts with its neighboring states and actors. Based on an analysis of historical events, political declarations, international agreements, and contemporary geopolitical analyses, the article reconstructs the multifaceted reasons behind the persistent state of war and tension. Particular attention is devoted to the foundational ideological and territorial disputes, the impact of the 1967 War, the role of the Palestinian issue, the rise of non-state actors, and the recent resurgence of the "Greater Israel" discourse. The analysis also covers the strained relations with traditional peace partners Egypt and Jordan, as well as the challenges to the Abraham Accords framework in the context of the 2023–2026 war.

В настоящей статье рассматривается вопрос о причинах многолетней безнаказанности Джеффри Эпштейна, американского финансиста, обвинявшегося в организации сети сексуальной эксплуатации несовершеннолетних. На основе анализа хронологии расследований, судебных документов и экспертных заключений реконструируется механизм, позволивший преступнику избегать реального наказания на протяжении более чем полутора десятилетий.
